Sunwest Actuarial Services, LLC (“Sunwest,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to www.sunwest-actuarial.com only; plan and participant data we handle as part of our professional engagements is governed by our engagement agreements and applicable law.
Information we collect
- Information you send us. When you use our contact or proposal forms, we receive what you enter — typically your name, company, email, phone number, message, and any file you attach. Form submissions are processed by Netlify, our website host, and delivered to our office email.
- Payment information. When you pay an invoice online, you enter the invoice number, amount, your name, company, and email on our site. Your card or bank details are entered directly on a secure checkout page operated by Stripe, Inc.; Sunwest never sees or stores them. Stripe’s handling of your data is described in the Stripe Privacy Policy.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our host records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and to keep the site running. We do not use advertising trackers or third‑party analytics cookies.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry or proposal request.
- To process and reconcile invoice payments and send receipts.
- To protect the site against abuse and keep it secure.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of service providers to operate this site: Netlify (hosting and form handling), Stripe (payment processing), and Google Fonts (typography). Each receives only the information needed to perform its service.
Retention
Form submissions are kept as long as needed to respond to you and for our business records. Payment records are retained as required for accounting and tax purposes.
